Welcome to Chkhavalley Winery, a family-run organic winery nestled in the lush hills of Western Georgia.
Our vineyard is located in Erge, Adjara, just 10 km from Batumi, where our family has been cultivating grapes and crafting wine since 2010. We produce natural wines without any chemical intervention, from soil to glass.
The winery is run by a young couple, Maka Tedoradze and Davit Bibineishvili, focusing on rare and regional grape varieties such as Chkhaveri and Tsolikouri, and offering visitors wine tasting sessions along with traditional Georgian homemade lunches.
01/23

We invite visitors to a guided tasting of six types of organic wines and three traditional Georgian spirits, all produced using natural methods. Paired with a curated board of local cheeses and homemade sweets, this experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
You’ll learn about:
• Our winemaking philosophy
• The flavor profiles and production methods behind each wine
• Ancient and modern Georgian wine and cuisine traditions
After the tasting, guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of their favorite wine and relax in the peaceful fresh air of Chkhavalley Winery, surrounded by nature and family warmth.
